. Alan Peterson was a designer at Yardbirds in Martinez until the acquistion by Home Depot. Home Depot then developed the smaller Yardbirds by Home Depot concept stores as design centers and hardware stores. He was the Project Manager for kitchen design at the Alamo store during its opening year and subsequently went to work for a private design firm in Walnut Creek.
At Peterson Studios we carry on the tradition of excellent service and quality products. We offer a computer based kitchen design program that will allow the client to participate in the design process of their kitchen or bath project. We feel that it's important that the client be involved in the design process to ensure that the final results reflect both their taste and desires for the function of the space. Our knowledge of design and the products that we sell is combined with the client's desires to produce a functional and esthetically pleasing result.
For the installation part of the project, we partner with a number of qualified contractors rather than using only one and selling the project as a package. If the client has no contractor we will provide the names of several that we work with so the client may get a number of bids to make sure that they're competitive and choose one that they feel comfortable with personally. If on the other hand the client already has a contractor we would invite them to be a part of the process as they sometimes have important requests as far as the installation is concerned.
